FOR LIQUID SCENTS: Fill the glass dish (usually) on top of the oil warmer with clear water, no more than
80% of the capacity, add 3 drops or more of your favorite aromatic oil. Depending upon the user's choice of aromatic oils,
a larger number of drops may be used for a greater or stronger aromatic effect.
FOR WAX TARTS: To remove wax which has harden on to your glass dish, run hot water from your faucet on the
back of the glass, this will loosen the wax.
GLASS PLATES vs METAL PLATES: Some oil warmers will come with a metal plate in which you place your oil or tart.
Metal plates get much hotter and will burn the scent out of the tart much quicker.
Glass plates do not get as hot and contains the scent longer.
NEVER put cold water into a warm or hot dish, it will crack.
